After receiving the brief today, I have developed some initial ideas in my head about the direction I want to pursue when producing these photographs. Some of the keywords I have been provided with have more ideas than others, so I will use the stronger words rather than the weaker ones.
The word 'decay' is one of the words that I have been drawn too at first, and will be experimenting with ideas relating to this. Jane Bown is one of the photographers who I want to take inspiration from, especially her photograph I have included below.

I have taken inspiration from this photograph because of the way it relates to the subject of decay, as well as the words 'calm', 'reflective' and 'light'. Decay can relate to the bones of old people, and how as we get older, we cannot function in the same way as we have been able too. This concept also relates to the idea of buildings, where a building is abandoned and therefore cannot function like it has done previously.
