We had another weekly criticism session to look at each others work from assignment two. We had to print three photographs based on the colour we was given. After having a disaster of printing, where the Boots printing kiosk deleted all my photos off my USB, I pulled out the old dusty printer that I used to use in high school and managed to print my photographs on paper (whilst gaining a new-ish printer, whey!)
This photograph was viewed in a positive manner by Jade and Toby who critiqued my work. They said they liked the movement of the food colouring inside the wine glass, however, they also commented that the shadow of the glass was really distracting and unfortunately let the whole shot down. I completely agree with this, and have decided to photograph this shot again, but this time concentrating on lighting and direction, so that shadows are not captured again. I will do this in the next few weeks alongside the 'On The Street' project I have been assigned!
